Hey, hey, Christian women! I am so excited to have you here online today, because today we are talking about making money online with a repositioned offer.
Sometimes, ladies, it is time to make some changes in your business. And this matters even if you are creating an offer for the first time. Because at the end of the day, you often have to refine, redesign, reposition, and update your offers to get them to sell.
You Don’t Have to Start From Scratch to Make Money Online
You do not have to start from scratch, ladies. I honestly think this might be one of my superpowers–or my zone of genius–because I’ve been able to reuse and not waste almost everything I create.
I remember I had a woman who worked for me for about a year and a half, and she told me one of the things she loved most about working together was that I could always figure out a way to reuse something. If I created a program and it did not sell as well as I hoped, or it ran for a season and then wrapped up, I would repurpose pieces of it into content in a different way.
That’s something I think is so helpful because sometimes we feel like we have to reinvent the wheel fifty billion times. But the reality is that when you are building a faith-based online business, you do not have to start over every single time something needs a refresh.
Why I’m Redesigning My Core Offer After Five Years
This is where today’s episode is really going, because I am actually redesigning my core offer, which is The Selah Collective. We are hitting our fifth anniversary on The Selah Collective, and honestly, that milestone means so much to me.
About every two to three years, I update this offer because as your Christian Business Coach, I want The Selah Collective to be the place where Christian women come to launch and scale their online coaching businesses alongside other like-minded Christian women. This is our third iteration, and I am putting some fresh wrapping paper on it because I want to give people more of what they actually need.
I have really started to see over the last couple of years what will actually help people be more successful, and it is being more implementation-based. That is the update coming to The Selah Collective: more one-to-one implementation support layered right into the group experience, and I could not be more excited to announce it!
Here is what I want you to remember when you are redesigning your own offer:
- Good offers are timeless. Some of the details change, but the core strategy does not.
- Bonuses, structure, and implementation support can be updated as the marketplace shifts.
- The foundation of a solid offer–the framework and the structure–stays the same if it was built well in the first place.
Good Offers Are Timeless: Renovate the House, Don’t Rebuild the Foundation
If you built your offer on a legitimate, solid foundation, you do not have to start over. Redesigning an offer is like a renovation. You are pulling out the dated tile, giving it a new paint job, replacing the roof, etc., but you are not tearing out the framing and the structure if the bones are already good.
I think about the 1970s kitchen we had in the house we were raising our kids in while we renovated it. We eventually got a brand new, white mid-century modern kitchen, and it was amazing for that season of our lives.
I want you to imagine how fun it would be to redesign your offer the same way. Instead of tearing everything down to the studs, think about how you can refresh your messaging and update your sales system as you keep learning how to build an online coaching business that actually lasts.
Ask yourself these questions when you sit down to redesign your offer:
- What is converting right now, and what is not?
- What does your person actually need in this season?
- What are you most excited to deliver?
Have Fun With Your Offer Again
I want to keep today short and sweet, but I also want you to have fun with your offers again. If you truly believe your offer is amazing and can help the person you have been called to serve, you are going to have so much more fun in your online business.
I have always dreamed up big offers and experiences in every business I have built, and then brought them to life. I did that with every retreat I have planned, and I did it back when I had my photography business…whether I was working with brides or later on with senior photography clients. I created experiences that felt different from anything else being sold, and I attracted clients who valued that difference.
That same instinct came with me into my online coaching business, and it shows up in my programs today. Focus on what converts, focus on what your person needs, and focus on what you are excited to deliver because that combination is what keeps a Holy Spirit-Led online business sustainable instead of exhausting.
