YOU ARE DRIVEN BY FEAR
If you are trying to start, launch, or scale your business, but you’re motivated by fear, it isn’t going to go well for you! Fear always drives you away from something, and never towards something good. Sadly, we simply don’t make wise decisions in fear. Having a clear plan of action is a great place to start to eliminate this fear!
YOU HAVE CONFUSED EXPECTATIONS
Similar to unrealistic expectations, confused expectations leave you wondering if you’re good enough. When you’re constantly comparing yourself to others, or wanting to be on the same path as everyone else, then most likely, you aren’t inviting God into your business. It’s time to set aside the confused expectations, and ask God what he’s inviting you into instead.
YOU ARE DOING IT IN YOUR OWN STRENGTH
Trying to start a business in your own strength really comes down to pride, which ultimately leads to burnout and getting frustrated really easily. We have to take time to actually partner with God and allow space for him to do his work.
These three mistakes are probably holding you back more than you realize – your mindset impacts your beliefs, and your beliefs impact your behavior. And God really wants more for you than that and the world needs what you have to offer! Without facing these mistakes head-on, face first, with prayer, you aren’t going to see the long-term, sustainable growth you really want and need in your business.
