Hey ladies. Today I want to talk about something that has honestly been on my heart for a while because I see it everywhere right now. I see it with new students coming into my programs, with established Christian online business owners who have been building for years, and honestly just across the online world in general.

I feel like everyone who runs an online business right now is utterly exhausted and depleted.

And that’s not an exaggeration. There is something happening right now where women who are trying to build a faith-based online business or step into leadership as a Christian online business coach are feeling the weight of everything at once.

At the same time, so many Christian women are feeling more called than ever in their business and ministry. We have to do something about this, ladies – especially if we want to continue making sales and launch the thing that God has called us to do.

We have to keep taking back territory in the business battlefield.

So today I want to unpack why so many Christian women in business are feeling this way and what we need to start paying attention to if we want to keep building what God has called us to build. Plus, I have an exciting announcement and tool to help you overcome this season.

Why So Many Christian Women in Business Feel Depleted

When I look at the current landscape of entrepreneurship, especially inside the Christian online coaching industry, it’s honestly not surprising that women are exhausted

There is so much happening in the world and so much noise. Not to mention the trauma of 2020. With changing algorithms, the fears of AI, and the ever-changing digital world where things are moving incredibly fast, it’s no wonder women are feeling so depleted.

For women building an online coaching business, all that noise can become overwhelming pretty quickly.

What makes it even harder is that so many women genuinely feel called to step into what God has placed on their hearts. They know He asked them to start the business or lead in a certain way – but now they’re trying to carry that calling while already feeling depleted.

And carrying both of those things at the same time definitely isn’t easy.

We Are Living in Survival Mode

So many of us are operating in survival mode without even realizing it.

When you are in survival mode, your mind, body, and spirit are constantly responding to pressure. When that happens, it becomes much harder to think clearly, make confident decisions, or move forward.

Which means something has to change, because we can’t perform well when we’re distracted like this, and we certainly can’t create when we are completely exhausted. Our systems are calling out SOS!

Instead of having a clear path forward, so many women feel stuck in a cycle where everything feels overwhelming. Decisions feel bigger than they should, and every step forward feels like it carries more pressure than it needs to.

That’s why I think one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves right now is simply: why?

Why are we feeling this way? What is actually happening beneath the surface…what is the root? What fears are you reliving every day? What past trauma is holding you back?

Sometimes the exhaustion isn’t only about the work. Sometimes it’s connected to something deeper like: What is going on internally that you may not have been fully delivered from?

The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and we do have an enemy who can certainly make things difficult. However, if God has placed this online business on your heart, then there is also responsibility and ownership that you must take. We have to ask where we may be lacking so we can fulfill the calling in front of us and do the thing God asked us to do.

Running a Business Is One of the Most Sanctifying Things You Can Do

I’ve learned after years of working with women in the Christian business coaching space that running a business will expose you. In fact, running a business is one of the most sanctifying things you can do.

It’s similar to parenting in the sense that it constantly reflects things back to you. Your business becomes like a mirror. It shows you what’s working and what’s not.

Whether you’re making money or not, whether you have a launch that failed or a launch that’s successful… You are constantly faced with areas where you need to improve.

When you’re building a faith-based coaching business, that mirror goes even deeper because your values and your Christian faith are part of how you lead:

  • How you respond to clients
  • How you handle criticism online
  • How you steward money and opportunities

As a Christian online business owner, you are challenged everyday to fight the flesh and walk in the Spirit. That’s why it truly is one of the most sanctifying things you can do.

You have two choices. You can either avoid growth and run from the hard things, or you can face them head-on, look at your weaknesses, and begin building self-discipline and maturity as a leader.

I remember one of my best friends from high school ran a marathon. She actually couldn’t finish that race because she had terrible shin splints – but she sure tried.

Sometimes that’s what building a business is like. You’re running a long race, accomplishing amazing things, but along the way you might pick up a few bruises or injuries. That’s why continued healing, self-control, and self-discipline are so important – because they help us grow through what’s happening internally as we keep moving forward.

You Have to Diagnose What Is Actually Stopping You

One of the biggest mistakes I see women make when they feel stuck in business is assuming the problem must be strategy.

They think they need a better marketing plan, more followers, or a new offer.

But many times the real issue is something deeper.

Recently I was messaging a client who felt stuck in her online business. Instead of immediately jumping to solutions, I started asking her questions:

  • Where do you feel stuck?
  • Do you think it’s trying to create Instagram content?
  • Do you think it’s not having fast enough momentum?

Because if someone isn’t taking action, it’s rarely because they refuse to act.

More often it’s because they lack clarity.

I think it has more to do with the fact that they are lacking clarity on if that action is the right action to take.

When clear direction is missing, everything feels heavy. Decision-making becomes exhausting, and progress slows down.

Sometimes what’s really happening is that something deeper is blocking momentum. It might be overwhelm, identity struggles, or simply trying to build in a way that doesn’t align with how God actually wants you to move forward.

That’s why diagnosis matters.

Until you understand what is actually happening internally, it becomes very difficult to move forward with confidence.

Stepping Out of Survival Mode

If you’re a Christian woman building an online business right now and you feel exhausted, you are not alone.

This is why I’m so excited to announce my new project called She’s Set-Apart But in Survival Mode: The 2-Day Business Reset. The whole purpose of this experience is to help women step out of that constant survival mode and begin rebuilding from a place of fullness.

After years of working as a Christian online business coach, I’ve realized that stagnation usually isn’t because of a lack of knowledge. They’ve taken the courses, they understand strategy, and they know what actions they should be taking. More often, something deeper is happening internally that’s blocking momentum.

When you slow down long enough to diagnose what’s actually happening internally, everything begins to shift. And when you rebuild from a place of fullness instead of survival mode, the business God called you to create becomes something you can carry with far more peace.

Praying for you, sister. God has an amazing plan for you, and I’d hate to see you lose momentum now when you were called for such a time as this.
