I want to be honest with you guys…even as an expert Christian coach, I did not want to do the launch I just did. I wanted to selfishly stay in an all evergreen strategy. Launching can be hard on a family, it can be hard physically, emotionally, and mentally. Although launching is HARD, I don’t believe it’s a season to not do it. I just felt like I needed to do it not only to show my students it still works so well, but also to test some new things and see the cumulative effect of building my email list RELENTLESSLY over the last 9 months.
DOES THIS STILL WORK?
Even though I am an expert at launching my program and have done very well by obtaining very consistent results, I was still questioning before I started my launch if this was going to still work. Like was this launch going to really pay off? The objections came flowing in quickly as I thought about going through with my launch. I thought to myself, maybe Facebook has changed too many times…people are not spending money in the recession and this is a time after Christmas and during tax season. I had to overcome the resistance of wanting to remain comfortable and so I started and at that point there was no turning back!
OH MY – NO ONE SIGNED UP FOR PRE-REGISTRATION, I AM GOING TO FAIL…
I usually have one to one sign up’s and can look at launch numbers for comparisons but this didn’t happen. I was starting to question WILL this really work out…So many emotions aroused. But then open cart day came and I had MORE registrations than normal! I wondered if this pace would continue for the duration of the launch. By the end of week 1 I was tired already. Middle of week 2… SO SO TIRED… I had to just keep pushing through every day scheduling posts and emails.
WOW – GOD IS SO GOOD!!!
God is literally so good! I was BLOWN away by His goodness and I totally could have missed out on it had I thought I was too good to go back and just launch. There is this false stigma in the online world that assumes if someone is launching then it must mean they are not doing well because we are all “supposed” to work forever in an evergreen funnel. But in reality, the people who are successful are the ones who are always doing something. Launching allowed me to bring in people who were waiting for a LIVE experience and a cohort to come in.
This has been the BEST LAUNCH YET!!! Working in the OFF-SEASON matters so much…
The results of this launch literally shocked me so much and it reminded me of the cumulative effect of just doing the work, being diligent and taking strategic action for your work in the off-season. I want you to be encouraged and understand that your emotions can take you in a billion directions but you DO NOT have to be driven by them. So even when you feel like you are an expert, the emotions and resistance doesn’t totally go away, but your maturity to combat those feelings of hesitation and fear of uncertainty will get stronger. Hold your thoughts captive and push through!
