Hey ladies! Today’s episode is so close to my heart. We’re diving into what it means to launch a truly set-apart coaching business before the end of 2024. Whether you’re just starting or wanting to amplify your reach, there’s still time to make a big impact. This isn’t about following the crowd or doing business like everyone else – it’s about stepping into the unique calling God has for you in the coaching industry. And yes, we’re talking about a business that’s aligned with God’s heart and purpose. If you’re a Christian Life Coach or Christian Business Coach, this is for you.
Why Being Set-Apart Matters
One of the most profound elements of a successful Christian coaching business is understanding what it means to be “set-apart.” To me, being set-apart means we’re not called to do things like the world does. We’re not going down the popular, easy path. In the business world, especially for those of us following Jesus, there’s often tension between doing things the “trendy” way and honoring God’s principles. Many times, this requires walking a less popular path, but it’s a path full of authenticity and integrity.
I believe deeply in serving believers in a way that respects their faith and commitment to God. So, as you launch your coaching business, think about this: what does it mean for you to do this set-apart, not just as any business but as a coaching business that aligns with God’s calling?
5 Steps to Launch Your Set-Apart Coaching Business Before Year-End
If you’re ready to launch your online Christian coaching business before 2024 wraps up, let’s get tactical with my five-step process, which I call the “Bloom Process.” This method is designed to help you launch effectively and in alignment with your purpose.
1. Clarify Your Why – Root Yourself in Purpose
Your why is your root system. Get clear on what God has called you to do and who He’s called you to serve. This might not be fully clear right away – sometimes we only get 60-70% clarity at the start. That’s okay! Pray, seek His direction, and be open to the journey. Having this strong foundation is critical because it keeps you grounded and motivated, especially when challenges arise.
2. Define Your Offer – Enter the “Stem” Phase
The next step in the Bloom Process is defining what you’re going to offer. This is your stem, the part of the plant that supports everything else. Figure out a high-ticket offer or a transformational service that truly meets your clients’ needs. This is where you’ll decide if it’s a one-on-one coaching package or a group program. High-ticket offers often make the most sense for new coaches because they allow you to serve deeply while also reaching income goals faster.
3. Create Your Messaging & Branding – The “Bud” Phase
In the bud phase, it’s time to develop your messaging and branding. Your messaging is where your story and your client’s needs intersect. Use your own testimony, listen to the language your potential clients use, and clarify the transformation you provide. Your messaging should be authentic and true to who you are. Avoid the temptation to skip this stage; it’s crucial to create an effective connection with your audience.
4. Marketing and Systems – Nourish Your Vision
Here’s where the real work begins: getting sun and water to your budding business. This involves creating a marketing plan and systems to support your growth. Are you going to focus on Instagram or Facebook? I often recommend starting with a Facebook group because it allows for personal connections and data gathering. With a solid platform and engagement, you can build momentum and trust with your audience. Systems are key here too – decide on your conversion strategy, whether it’s applications, direct checkouts, or sales calls.
5. Launch and Sell – Bloom Time
Finally, it’s bloom time! This is where you put your offer out there and invite people to join. If you’re just starting, consider a beta launch. A beta launch doesn’t need to be perfect; it’s more about testing and refining your offer while working with real clients. Alternatively, you can do a full launch, using an event or experience that nurtures your audience into buying. A structured, repeatable process helps here; this is how you start bringing in those clients.
One Offer, One Platform, One Conversion Strategy
I can’t stress it enough: keep it simple! Start with one solid offer, choose one platform (like Facebook or Instagram), and focus on one conversion strategy. High-ticket offers, especially in the beginning, allow you to focus on fewer clients with deeper impact, rather than spreading yourself too thin across low-ticket items.
Authenticity in a World of Hype
Being a Christian Business Coach or Life Coach means operating differently. In a world where “hustle culture” reigns, it can feel counter-cultural to operate from a place of faith and integrity. But remember, you’re here to be set-apart. Build from authenticity and trust that God will bless the work done in His name. And don’t worry – you don’t have to get it perfect. The Lord looks at your heart and honors your dedication, even when the results aren’t immediate.
Embrace the Challenges and Choose Joy
Finally, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that it’s okay. Every business journey has its highs and lows, and God uses those challenges to refine us. As I shared in this episode, you can choose joy in the process. Joyful work and Holy Spirit-led decision-making are what set this journey apart. If I could share one thing, it’s this: Let joy, not just results, fuel your business-building.
