There is a pressing question at hand right now – how are we going to reach our first $100K as an online coach or course creator when the world is legitimately on FIRE? It feels scary when we are being surrounded by the awful reports of the media. But what’s funny is that my whole business has been built during a recession. It’s something about surrendering to God’s will even in uncertainty. We can never fully predict what is going to happen, which is why it is so important to consistently fix our eyes on Christ. We must pour into our kingdom community and kingdom economy because there is NO recession when your source comes from the KINGDOM OF GOD!

GOD KNOWS IT ALL
There really is never a good time to start or build your online coaching business. Sure you may be a busy stay at home mom with three little children in the midst of a recession – Trust me I GET IT! The thing is… God knows it all and he is still calling us to build in such a time as this. When we entered into this world and decided to be Holy-Spirit led, we knew there would be tribulation. But what I can tell you is that if God has called you to do something, don’t let fear stop you from being obedient to the call because his plan is perfect. He will provide!
EVERYONE IS STRUGGLING
Everyone is struggling to fight through their own personal battle. I shared some of my client stories last week..they all have faced obstacles when building their businesses. They’ve experienced loss, sacrifice and all the things that make it so hard to build their businesses. The difference is that they’ve made a choice to push through and be resilient even in the midst of the fire. What you do today will impact what you do in the next 12 months.
THERE WILL NEVER BE AN IDEAL TIME
There will always be excuses. The people who are successful are the ones who stop making them. They realize how human they are and they move forward. The flesh wants you to victimize yourself and get you to think about all the reasons why you can’t. If you truly want to make a lifestyle change then you can do it, even if you build slowly.
There is something about surrendering our will to God and stepping into what he has called us to do even if we aren’t sure exactly how it all will work out. A lot of people have built their businesses in the middle of a fire – I was one of those people. The first time I actually launched the Selah collective I had to spend two days in the hospital with my daughter after she had a seizure at school. It definitely wasn’t the best time.. But I pushed through it. With the help of God, I showed up for my daughter and I still was able to finish launching.
