Hey ladies! I’m so excited to be back on the podcast with you today and diving into a topic that is so important for all of us as Christian entrepreneurs: how to navigate seasons where we feel lost or stuck in our businesses.
Out of the Wilderness and Into Eden
Looking back, I can see how I’ve been walking through what I call a wilderness season. For about 3-6 months, I was in this space where my business and personal life just didn’t feel aligned. I wasn’t podcasting consistently, I wasn’t launching new things, and I honestly didn’t feel the same energy I used to have for my Christian coaching business.
I think this happens to a lot of us as entrepreneurs, especially when we’ve worked so hard to build something—whether that’s a coaching business, a ministry, or even just a side hustle. You hit that 6-figure or 7-figure online business mark, and then you ask yourself, “Okay, what’s next? Do I keep going like this, or do I need to pause?”
And I paused.
For the first time in a long time, I allowed myself to take a step back and reassess. Was I still in alignment with God’s vision for me? Was I just grinding for the sake of it? These are questions I think every Christian Business Coach should ask themselves, especially if you’re feeling that nudge from the Holy Spirit to slow down and listen.
The Shift: A New Focus for 2024
One word that the Lord has placed on my heart for 2024 is “REPEAT” but not in the way you might think. It’s like God is giving us a chance to do it right this time—to reset and build from a place of rest, not hustle. As an entrepreneur, I’ve always emphasized the importance of balance, but this season taught me how crucial it is to actually live it out.
I felt this shift begin back in March. I had just wrapped up a huge launch and felt the Lord saying, “Ashley, it’s time to slow down. Reassess. Let me lead you.” And girl, when the Lord tells you to slow down, you listen!
Welcome to Eden: The New Podcast
With that said, I’m thrilled to announce that this podcast is no longer called She’s Wild & Radiant. We’re stepping into something new, something refreshing. Welcome to Eden—a space where we’re going to explore what it means to build a 7-figure Christian coaching business from a place of paradise.
Why Eden? Because Eden represents paradise. It’s a place where everything was in balance, where we walked with the Lord daily. And that’s what I want for you in your business and life. Whether you’re a Christian business coach, or a woman in the early stages of building a coaching business, we’re going to walk this journey together with God as our guide.
Building a Coaching Business Without the Grind
Getting to my first 7-figures was hard, no doubt about it. I remember grinding, building systems, creating funnels, and working long hours. And don’t get me wrong—I love the hustle when it’s necessary. But I also learned that the grind can’t last forever.
If you’re in the early stages of building your business, I want to remind you that the hard work is worth it, but you also need to build in seasons of rest. Rest doesn’t mean you stop working; it means you work differently. I’m in a season where I’m not doing live events, and my income is still thriving. Why? Because I built systems that work for me, not against me.
The Importance of Systems and Community
I’m still running The Selah Collective, which is a group coaching program designed to help Christian women entrepreneurs launch and scale their online businesses. We’ve been going strong for three years now, and the community just keeps growing. This program is for those of you who are launching and scaling your businesses, and I see it thriving even more in 2024.
But the big news is Eden: The Mastermind. I’m so refreshed by working with women who are already making $20K to $100K+ in their businesses. It’s a different type of coaching, one that’s more about fine-tuning and scaling than just getting started. If you’re ready to go to the next level, Eden is where you’ll want to be.
What’s Next for Us?
As we enter into this new season, I’m feeling more freedom and excitement than ever before. My business is thriving, my family is thriving, and I’m learning how to operate from a place of rest, not stress. If you’re feeling like you’re in a wilderness season right now, take heart. The Lord is doing a new thing, and He will guide you into your Eden.
Remember, you don’t have to build your coaching business the world’s way. You don’t have to grind 24/7 to make it to 7-figures. Build systems, trust the Lord’s timing, and remember that your business is also your ministry.
