Do you want to share the love of Jesus with others, but feel scared or don’t know how to start? I was there too. I thought I would offend someone or people just didn’t want to hear it. If you can relate, this is for YOU! I am going to share 5, easy to remember steps so you can share the gospel with anyone in your personal life or as a faith-based entrepreneur.

Right after I finished college, I got really involved with the church I grew up attending. I was back in my hometown for about a year and just HUNGRY for truth and really seeking out God’s will. So, while getting really involved with my church, I took several classes, one of which was called Evangelism Explosion. In this class, I learned how to share the gospel in 5 easy steps and put it into practice. We did this at the laundromat, mall, parks, etc. and 30% of people accepted Christ! It was incredible to me. This showed me that people are more open to this than we think and some people are just waiting for the invitation.

The five steps you are going to go over with the person you are sharing with, are GRACE, MAN, GOD, CHRIST, FAITH.

GRACE

If we tried to get into heaven based off of good works, we would have to be REALLY good! Thankfully, no amount of personal effort, good works, or religious deeds can earn a place in Heaven for us.

“For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).

MAN

Nobody can earn their way into heaven because humans are sinners. Despite our sinful nature, God is good!

GOD

We serve a merciful and loving God! He is merciful and doesn’t want to punish us, but he is also just and must punish our sin.

CHRIST

Christ is both God and man. He died on the cross and rose from the dead. He did this to pay the penalty for our sins and purchase a place in heaven for us.

FAITH

Saving faith is not just head knowledge nor just temporary faith, saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our eternal life.

By walking through these steps they get to decide if they want to make the commitment of transferring their trust from what they have been doing to what Christ has done for them on His cross. If they choose to repent and transfer their trust to Jesus, they will receive the gift of eternal life and are now a child of God! Forever!

This was such a great experience for me then and has grown me as a faith-based business coach. I challenge you all to go and share this with two to three people that have been on your heart! I would love to hear the results, so email me your stories at ashley@wildandradiant.com.
