Stepping into our second episode of the Goshen Coaching Series, let’s talk about what it takes to build your Christian coaching business. We will discuss the three profitable niches for building a coaching business! You don’t want to miss the opportunity to monetize this idea with 3 proven niches to bring some cash flow into your online coaching business.
I’ve had plenty of students come in without a clear idea of what to build, how to build, and how to monetize. So, today we are talking about monetizing ideas. Are you struggling with what kind of coaching business you should start? A lot of my students come in not knowing what they are supposed to build. Some have a vision, but aren’t sure of the nitty gritty details of how to bring it to life. This is totally normal! Don’t be afraid of taking the step. Sometimes God plants the seed before we are ready so that He can work out the clarity inside of us as we become ready.
It reminds me of a time in my life where I was in this exact position. It was 2017 and I knew I was being called to help other women and mamas, but I didn’t have the clarity to know who, what, where, and how. So I took a break and during that time, God continued to work on His vision and then brought me back to the coaching business a year later. And I never looked back!
CALLING
When you get to the stage of understanding your calling, it is common to be unclear about what that looks like. You may feel the pull, but not be 100% sure on all the details, and that’s OK! But I can assure you, you won’t know how it will all work out in your life, unless you take the necessary steps to MOVE FORWARD. You won’t start with money overnight – unless you have already put the time in to build an audience – but that still isn’t an excuse to not start. Visions come before the outcome!
Don’t forget to embrace the lack of clarity in your season of calling. If you let it, this can be a really fun stage with the dreams and ideas flowing, where you can just enjoy the creativity and building with the Lord.
TESTIMONY
God has walked you through a very unique journey to bring you RIGHT HERE. Your testimony is meant to show others who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Even in my own marketing, you’ll see my testimony riddled throughout because it is what brought me to this place in my life where I can now help other women build their dream businesses.
There is literally not a single person in the world who has experienced EXACTLY what you have experienced. Your calling will be clearer if you can be totally honest and tap into your testimony. God has walked you through something very specific in your life – this is not just so you can relate to other people, but so you can set others free with your coaching or course-based business.
You have been called to set people free. Lots of times, the area that you help someone in is related to that space of breakthrough that you had yourself! This is Biblical! The entire Gospel is all about sharing what God has done for you, how He helped set you free, and how He has called you to help others. Your whole calling should be wrapped around sharing your testimony and helping other people get set free. We are coaching people into freedom!
MONETIZE
The key to monetizing your ideas is to figure out who you are called to serve and why. Health, Wealth and Relationships are all monetizing niches that you can be successful in! Faith and Mindset are both great and they sell, but there needs to be a tangible outcome for your clients. Be led by the Holy Spirit to find your niche within these areas. You have to make money – it’s not worth your time if you don’t.
SUSTAINABILITY
Businesses can be built really big and really quickly – but they also tend to fall really quickly and in a very big way. PEOPLE GET LOST in the shuffle of these big programs. I love that my business is small enough that I can know my clients and that my heart can be invested in them. I have built my multiple 6 figure coaching business to be conducive to everything else I want to do in my life. I don’t want to be a million dollar business owner right now…I like my life…I don’t want a crazy big team and to be managing too much. It’s really about building a business that works for your life and for your family. Build your business the right way! Choose a niche in the Health, Wealth and Relationships areas that is unique to you!
