Hey Hey hey ladies! Today we’re diving into a juicy topic that I get asked about all the time: low-ticket offers. You know what I mean – those $7, $17, $27, etc. digital downloads, mini-courses, templates, and guides you see floating around Instagram stories and Facebook ads. And you’re probably thinking – should I sell those too? And can I actually make real money online with them?
I’ve got so many thoughts on this, so buckle in.
Why I Started Selling Low-Ticket Offers (and How It Helped My Online Business)
Let me take you back. I started creating low-ticket offers really early in my online coaching business – probably even earlier than I should have. Back then, I didn’t have a massive audience, but I was scrappy and resourceful. What I needed was a way to pay for my ad spend.
So I started building out a few smaller products and used what’s called a tripwire – you know, those little offers that pop up right after someone signs up for a freebie. I’d put a lower dollar offer on the thank you page and boom – people bought it. Some funnels even converted at 100% or more. Yes, I’ve had funnels that made money right out of the gate, just from the ads. I call that kingdom business strategy, y’all.
Honestly, I can usually cover anywhere from 10-30%, sometimes even 50% of my ad spend right away by doing this. It’s been a super helpful way to bridge the financial gap and build my email list at the same time.
Online Christian Business Strategy That Actually Works
If you’re an online Christian Business Coach, Course Creator, or Ministry Leader here’s what you need to know: low-ticket offers aren’t typically going to make your business explode, but they’re a powerful business-building tool when used with wisdom and strategy.
So many of you message me saying, “But Ashley, I saw this one girl on Instagram sell thousands of $27 offers…should I do that too?” And I get it. It’s tempting. It looks so easy from the outside. But here’s the truth…
Selling low-ticket offers is just as hard as selling high-ticket offers – especially if you don’t have an audience yet. That’s why I really don’t recommend starting there.
Start with your high-ticket signature offer. Get your core offer figured out and start making money that can support your online business. Then you can sprinkle in some low-ticket products to support your strategy, not distract from it.
How to Use Low-Ticket Offers Wisely in Your Online Christian Coaching Business
Here are a few strategic ways I recommend using low-ticket offers to grow your business online:
- Tripwires: Like I mentioned earlier, add them to your thank you pages after someone signs up for a free resource. It’s passive, quick, and warms up your new leads.
- Downsells: If someone doesn’t purchase your high-ticket program, offer them a bite-sized version. This is perfect for someone who isn’t ready to make a big investment but still wants a win with those nuggets of info.
- Quick Cash Offers: Run flash sales to your email list or post on IG Stories when you need to bring in some fast revenue.
- List Building and Audience Nurturing: These small offers prep your audience for the real transformation you’ll give them in your bigger program.
Real Talk: Low-Ticket Offers Aren’t a Great Full-Time Income Strategy
I’m just going to be straight with you. If you’re trying to make $10k/month selling $27 offers, you’re going to have to sell a LOT of them – like hundreds every single month. That’s a full-time marketing job in itself.
But when you use them as support tools in your funnel, that’s where the gold is. Most of the profit in low-ticket offers actually comes after someone buys – through upsells, email sequences, and value stacking.

So yes, I still sell them. I still build them. I still believe they have a place – but they’re not my main thing. They’re like the snacks before the main course. Helpful, tasty, and they fill the gaps.

Whether you’re an Online Christian Coach, Christian Course Creator, or Ministry Leader, I want you to know this:
Low-ticket offers can work – but only in the right season and with the right heart.
You’re called to build a set apart online business. One that’s full of strategy, grace, and obedience. Don’t chase what’s flashy. Build what’s fruitful.
So go ahead – create that low-ticket offer if it fits into your bigger picture. Use it to support your ads, to nurture your list, and to prepare your people for the transformation that only your God-given coaching can bring.
