I think about all of the moments that, compiled together, brought me to the realization that wealth wasn’t just about having more—it was about stewarding well what God had already given me.
It wasn’t when we hit six figures in our business. It wasn’t even when we made a $300,000 profit flipping a piece of land. It started much earlier—when I was a little girl, standing in the school hallway, embarrassed that my tennis shoes were from Payless and not the latest Jordans everyone else was wearing.
I finally got my first pair of Nikes—those black and white Air Jordans—in 5th grade, and they felt like a luxury. But that moment stayed with me. Not because I wanted to be rich—but because I knew what it felt like to go without. And I also saw, and experienced, what it looked like to work hard and change the trajectory of a family.
As Christian women, we are called to multiply, to steward, and to build a legacy. It’s not about chasing worldly dreams—it’s about walking in our Kingdom assignment as a Kingdom Entrepreneur.
From Lack to Legacy: My Childhood Money Story
My parents had me when they were young—barely 20—and we didn’t grow up with much. My dad worked tirelessly, and for years we lived paycheck to paycheck. I remember getting free lunches at school and knowing, deep down, that my dad was determined to change the trajectory of our lives. He learned how to flip cars as a teenager, and over his lifetime, he’s flipped over 500. When I was about 10, my dad opened his own auto body shop—and that decision changed everything for our family.
Watching him honorably hustle laid the foundation for how I now see money, work, and Kingdom purpose. It taught me that we don’t inherit wealth only in dollars—but in discipline, mindset, and obedience.
If you’re a Christian Life Coach or Christian Business Coach trying to rewrite your money story, let me tell you something: it is 100% possible. You don’t have to accept lack as your legacy.
The Mindset That Multiplies: How We Got Aggressive About Building Wealth
When Adam and I got married, we walked in with $30,000 in MBA debt. But we didn’t treat it like just another bill. We got aggressive. He had just renovated a house, and when we sold it, we used the profit to pay off the entire chunk.
No more payments. No dragging it out. No excuses.
That mindset—of radical stewardship—became the cornerstone of how we handle our money. Whether it is investing in real estate, flipping land, or reinvesting in my online coaching business, our question has always been: “How can we multiply what we’ve been given?”
That’s the heart of a Kingdom Entrepreneur. Not chasing riches for the sake of status, but taking what’s in your hand and stewarding it with excellence and faith.
The Slow Build: Why Our Path to 7 Figures Took Time
People see the wins now—the profitable business, the real estate, the freedom—but what they don’t see is the 15+ years of slow, intentional decisions we made.
We lived in outdated homes, survived with 1970’s kitchens while others were upgrading to Pinterest-perfect white cabinets, appliances and accessories! We drove old cars. Adam has worn the same T-shirts for probably 10 years now. We didn’t “level up” our lifestyle every time we made more money. We leveled up our investments instead.
As a Christian Entrepreneur, it’s easy to get sucked into the world’s idea of success. But when you’re building a faith-based online business, the goal isn’t instant results—it’s sustainable stewardship. And yes, that means reinvesting, taking calculated risks, and letting go of instant gratification.
Our Real Estate Story: Sweat Equity and Supernatural Strategy
One of our most impactful wealth-building moments came when we made a $300,000 profit on a land investment. It started with a $100k purchase price—paid in cash—and no income for over a year. But we trusted God, did our research, and waited for the right buyer.
That’s the kind of story people don’t tell you when they talk about building wealth. It’s not sexy. It’s not fast. But it’s biblical.
Proverbs 13:11 reminds us that “Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.”
We didn’t get lucky—we got faithful. And that faithfulness has been the framework for how we operate every part of our lives—including business.
Online Business: The Cash That Fuels Kingdom Growth
Let’s talk business, sis. As a Christian Business Coach, I’ve mentored hundreds of women in how to build an online business that actually sustains their family, funds their mission, and fuels their legacy. And if you’re in the online world, you have a golden opportunity to generate cashflow that creates long-term wealth.
But here’s the thing: most women start making money in their coaching business and then immediately want to take it all home. And I get it. You’ve worked hard. You’re tired. You want that reward.
But here’s what I’ve seen over and over: women who reinvest and build up their foundation go further, faster. I reinvest in ads, team members, mentorship—because I know that a strong business gives me the means to acquire more.
If you’re wondering how to build a coaching business that supports long-term wealth, the answer is simple: Stop bleeding it dry. Start treating it like the vehicle it is. Use it to fund your investments, real estate, tithes, and giving.
Money Isn’t the Enemy. Poor Stewardship Is.
Wealth is not evil. But the love of money? That’s where we get into trouble.
Luke 12:15 tells us: “Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
And Matthew 6:21 reminds us: “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
So yes, build wealth. Yes, scale your Christian coaching business. But don’t forget to check your heart along the way. Wealth is a tool. Not a trophy.
What’s Your Legacy?
At the end of the day, our mission isn’t just to grow numbers in a bank account—it’s to leave an inheritance for our children’s children (Proverbs 13:22). It’s to model generosity. It’s to break off the spirit of lack and release the next generation into abundance and calling.
You don’t need to live broke to be holy. You don’t need to live rich to be worthy. You need to live faithful to be fruitful.
Whether you’re just getting started or you’re scaling past six figures, know this: you’re not behind. You’re in process. And your calling as a Kingdom Entrepreneur is not just to make money—it’s to multiply what God has placed in your hands.
Let’s steward well. Let’s build boldly. Let’s leave a legacy that lasts.
