I am absolutely thrilled about today’s podcast episode because I am talking with you about the world of summer marketing. I hope you had a fantastic 4th of July and are now ready to turn your attention to the exciting possibilities awaiting your Christian online coaching business. It’s all too easy to slip into the trap of becoming a LAZY marketer during the laid-back summer season. However, this time of year offers a unique opportunity to showcase your coaching business in a more relaxed and authentic manner. With endless fun summer activities, I find myself naturally inclined to share more about my family adventures on platforms like Instagram, cherishing every moment I capture…
One thing I’ve always excelled at is taking a moment to contemplate what lies ahead—a mindset of preparation, ensuring our lamp oil remains full! It’s important to recognize that the actions you take right now will have a lasting impact on your success three months from now. Last year, August proved to be an outstanding month for us, and I firmly believe that with the right mindset and strategy, you too can reach your goals!
Today, I want you to leave with encouragement, vision, and a well-crafted plan that will shape the future of your business. I want you to know that it’s entirely possible to run a thriving coaching business while savoring the joys of summer. Let’s embrace this opportunity together.
CAST THE FALL VISION NOW!
It’s essential to cast your vision for the fall season. Without a clear vision, we lack direction and purpose. Let’s not fall into the misconception that success will magically happen once fall arrives. If we haven’t put in the effort to build and grow during the summer, we won’t see the results we desire.
Depending on where you are in your coaching business journey, there are different stages to consider. If you’re a new course creator, you’re in the building stage, creating your offer and preparing for launch. It’s crucial to channel your energy towards developing that offer right now to avoid delaying your launch for months. As you progress into the growth stage, it becomes necessary to outline a strategic marketing plan for the fall and the year ahead. And when you reach the scale stage, it’s time to optimize and refine what you’ve already accomplished. All of these stages require careful thought and consideration. It’s important to keep these aspects in mind as you plan your business trajectory. As a team, we’ll be working together on a launch scheduled for the end of September.
REVAMP + REFRESH MESSAGING
Your messaging should look different for the fall than it should for the summer. Consider the different niches that emerge, such as the upcoming holiday season, back-to-school preparations, and more. Incorporating these elements into your marketing plan will naturally resonate with your clients. Take this opportunity to brainstorm and cast a vision for your messaging strategy.
For those of you who are eager to launch within a month, it’s essential to take a reverse engineering approach to develop a realistic timeline. Assess the amount of work that needs to be done before the launch, and then create a plan accordingly.
STAY PRESENT W/ BOUNDARIES
You totally do not have to go off the grid—but don’t feel like you have to go crazy either! July tends to be a month where sales go down….think Christmas in July…Last year we chose to take a podcast break due to us traveling and it was AWESOME! So if you are going to do it then be sure to stay present while setting boundaries to ensure you do not over commit. At the end of the day—we all want oil in our lamps…be prepared and allow yourself to indulge in some much needed rest.
