I never thought I’d be a homeschooling parent. I was the mom who couldn’t wait to drop the kids off at daycare so I could get into my creative work mode. I love business. I love inspiring others. I love making legacy money. I love creating things from scratch and watching them multiply. And yet—God had other plans.
In this season of life I run a 7-figure online coaching business, homeschool my three kids and pour into my family! You can be a present mama. You can build an online business that disrupts culture. And you can do it all while walking closely with Jesus. And it is absolutely possible to do it without getting burned out!
This episode is for the Christian Life Coach or online business entrepreneur who’s wondering, “Can I really do it all?” My answer? With the right systems, surrender in prayer, and a whole lot of grace—absolutely yes.
Faith-Based Business Growth Starts with Freedom
In 2023, I made a decision that felt radical: I leaned into homeschooling our kids, while still running my company at a high level.
And you know what’s wild? That was my biggest year in business.
Yep. The year I “should’ve” been the most distracted was the year I was the most obedient. And God completely showed up. I created the systems I needed to maintain momentum, lead my clients, and scale strategically—all while simplifying my life and reclaiming my peace. Yes, there were bumps and adjustments throughout the following years, but I honored what I felt and He was sovereign.
This is what I want every Christian entrepreneur to know: You can build a 6 or 7-figure coaching business without selling your soul to the hustle. You can follow Jesus and build high-ticket offers. You can grow in profit while protecting your peace.
Systems Are Key
People always ask me, “Ashley, how do you do it all?”
And honestly? I don’t. I’ve just learned how to build systems and routines—and I treat them like sacred space.
When I’m in a launch season, we go hard. When I’m in a family-focused season, I step back from the front-end. I am intentional to make space for creativity. I clear my schedule and even get alone out of my office to let the vision flow. It’s all about rhythm. Not perfection.
Our weeks are intentionally mapped out: I have 2 dedicated work days each week (typically Monday and Friday), where I deep dive into content creation, coaching, and all things business while the kids are at their enrichment programs. The other days? I’ve created a flow that allows me to show up for my family.
Because the truth is, a well-run business doesn’t require 40+ hours a week. I built my first multiple six figures working just 5–15 hours a week, and my online business is built to teach my clients how to do the same.
Obedience Over Hustle
One of the biggest mindset shifts I had to make as a Christian Business Coach was learning to choose obedience over hustle.
I used to think I had to grind 24/7 to make things work. But when I started aligning my coaching business with God’s timing and how we think our family should function with our values at the center…I saw more fruit with less force.
2023 taught me that obedience is the shortcut. When God says “go,” you go. When He says “rest,” you rest.
It’s Not About Perfection—It’s About Stewardship
Let’s be honest—this lifestyle isn’t perfect. I still get behind on projects. There are days I want to skip the homeschool lessons and just bury myself in my laptop. But I’ve learned to stay in the routine and season I’m in.
One of the lies the enemy loves to whisper is: “You have to do it all perfectly to be successful.”
No, sis. You just need to steward what’s in your hands.
Some seasons will feel like a sprint. Some will feel like a reset. And others will feel like pruning. But through every season, your coaching business can still grow. Why? Because it’s rooted in the Kingdom’s culture.
I see this in my clients every day—Christian women building powerful online coaching business brands while raising babies, navigating trials, and clinging to Jesus. They’re not chasing trends; they’re walking in assignment.
Still Making Space for Jesus
I won’t pretend I have hours of quiet time each day. In this season of motherhood, my time with Jesus often looks like spontaneous worship with the kids or whispering prayers between coaching calls.
But that’s the beauty of a Spirit-led online business. He’s not asking for ritual. He’s asking for relationship.
So whether I’m leading a workshop, coaching a client, or homeschooling a kid who does not want to read that day—I know I’m doing Kingdom work. I’m doing what He’s asked me to do.
You can build a profitable, peaceful, and faith-led online coaching business.
